Voices and Winds at Bethany

The Colorado Wind Ensemble teams up with St. Martin's Chamber Choir in a performance of Anton Bruckner's rarely heard Mass No. 2 in E Minor and a world premiere by composer Daniel Kellogg.    CWE will also perform Francis Poulenc's Suite Française d'après Claude Gervaise for chamber winds. Two performances: Friday, February 23 at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church in Denver, and Sunday, February 25 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village. The Colorado Youth Composers Workshop The Colorado Wind Ensemble presents the Colorado Youth Composers Workshop.  Student composers will participate in 6 masterclass sessions with MSU Denver composition faculty member Cherise Leiter.  Students will compose a piece for a chamber ensemble made up of members of the Colorado Wind Ensemble, and will hear their compositions read at the end of the workshop.
